In order to more efficiently transport the goods on the list approved by the countries of the Central European Trade Agreement (CEFTA), the implementation of "green corridors" will start from April 13, and out of 4 border crossings in Serbia, 2 are located in southern Serbia, while other border crossings in the country will join them when the technical conditions have been met.
“Green Corridors "means expedited legal and health procedures at certain border crossings that will be open for the transportation of goods 24/7.
This regime includes specific products intended for human and animal nutrition, as well as medicines, medical and protective equipment necessary for the suppression of and protection of the population from the coronavirus epidemic.
According to the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, border crossings and green lanes within this system are open to all types of goods, while products with special humanitarian significance have an additional advance notice regime, which provides special priority at border crossings along the "green corridors
All necessary sanitary measures and the list of products can be found on the CEFTA website.
