Leskovac, Мedvedja – Over the past 24 hours, the Leskovac-based Institute of Public Health received 15 results of tests for the coronavirus infection, two of which are positive.  

One new patient was recorded in Leskovac, and one in the area of the municipality of Medvedja, where there had been no confirmed cases of the vicious infection for weeks.

Yesterday, among 25 received results, five patients were positive for the corona virus, two from Leskovac and three from the area of Vlasotince. On Saturday, the infection was confirmed in seven out of 106 sampled persons, in three patients from Leskovac and two each from Vlasotince and Lebane.

Over the past three days, the presence of the corona virus was confirmed in a total of 14 persons, in one secondary school student and one university student, in seven employed persons, as well as in four unemployed patients and two pensioners.

The Leskovac-based Institute of Public Health announced on Monday that it had received all the results for the patients who were sampled in the previous days in that institution, the General Hospital and the health centers of the district.

According to the latest data, the number of hospitalized patients in the COVID part of the General Hospital in Leskovac has not changed. Three people are being treated, two of whom are undergoing oxygen therapy.
