Medvedja – Zoran Stankovic, the President of the Coordination Body, visited the "Gornja Jablanica" elementary school and delivered school bags and school suppplies, that had been provided by the Coordination Body, to the first graders. As part of its regular activity, the Coordination Body provided a total of 86 sets of school bags and  school supplies  to the first graders from the area of the municipality of Medvedja.  

As a token of their appreciation, the students of the "Gornja Jablanica" elementary school  organized a cultural and artistic program, while the event of delivering school supplies was attended by Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, too.  

Zoran Stankovic wished a successful school year to the students and teachers, and said that he would like the Coordination Body to play a host to the first graders in Belgrade the following year, as well as that the Coordination Body would try to provide the financial resources for that activity.  Mr. Stankovic spoke with the children and told them to learn, to strive to achieve good school results and to have good school marks, as they would, in the future, be able to provide better living conditions to all inhabitants of the municipality of Medvedja.

Nebojsa Arsic, the leader of the local community, thanked Zoran Stankovic and the Coordination Body for the undertaken activity, pointing out that the local self-government of Medvedja had excellent cooperation with that governmental body. He underscored that the provision of school supplies was one of the important activities of the Coordination Body, since it directly helped the families deal more easily with the costs related to the education of children.

Also, Mr. Stankovic and Mayor Arsic spoke about the current problems facing the municipality Mevedja and agreed on a series of activities planned for the future.
