The Department for Youth of the Council of Europe invited local and regional authorities to develop and implement specific activities or projects that contribute to the implementation of Recommendations of the Enter! Project, since local authorities have an important role in facilitating the access of young people from unfavorable environments to social rights and to the improvement of their position.
The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe adopted in 2015 the Enter! recommendations that should be implemented to help young people from less developed areas, those who are at risk of poverty, discrimination and social exclusion, by providing increased access to social rights and ensuring equal conditions for the acquisition of knowledge, skills and competencies.
Support measures that the Council of Europe provides through the implementation of the project, include, inter alia, the transfer of expertise and experience; institutional and/or educational support; capacity building; opportunities for networking and peer learning.
Local or regional authorities, or their partners interested in a partnership with the Council of Europe, may apply until August 31, 2018.
