Belgrade – The Foundation "Ana and Vlade Divac" signed contracts with six local civil society organizations on the award of grants to improve their organizational capacity. The total value of the grants is 50,000 US dollars.

The aim of the financial assistance, which is provided as part the project "Support to Local Communities in Response to the Refugee Crisis," which the Foundation implements with the financial assistance of the US Agency for International Development (USAID), is to empower the organizations working at the local and regional levels, so that they could become more efficient in providing their services and, thus, contribute to the development of their local communities and to a better quality of life of the citizens.

In addition to other organizations and associations, the Center for Solidarity and Progress from Presevo and the Youth Forum from Presevo will get the support for strengthening their organizational capacities.
