According to the announcement of the Minister of Trade Rasim Ljajic, citizens who notice that masks or disinfectants are being sold in pharmacies at unrealistic prices can report it from 7.30am to 10pm daily on 011/2699610 and the inspection will check and punish it. Minister Ljajic said that even the state of emergency, declared by President Aleksandar Vucic the previous night, would not have an influence on less food in the shops, and that citizens should not make any stocks.
Unjustified price rises are being controlled to prevent anyone getting rich during the pandemic of the virus corona, and to check that fiscal bills are issued.
The Minister reiterated that there was food in the stocks and that the citizens should not make food stocks at home and should not fear that they would be left without food.
“We can create problems ourselves if we buy full carts of bread, flour and toilet paper. At the moment, there is no need for the kind of hysteria we have seen in many countries in Europe. If the citizens do not heed the advice and continue to buy things in large quantities, one of the measures that could be put in place is to limit the purchase by quantity, "Minister Ljajic said.
