The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs issued a call for consultations on the drafting of the Strategy for Social Protection for the 2019-2025 period.

The Social Protection Strategy is a national sectoral strategy and also a social agreement on the development of social protection policies in the next mid-term period.  The social protection strategy responds to the needs of society and defines the directions for further development of social protection policies, as well as a more effective and efficient integration of social protection policies with national development priorities and other sectors.

The process of drafting the Social Protection Strategy 2019-2025 was launched on April 20, 2018 at the National Conference held in Belgrade and it was supported by the project Support to the Development of Regulatory Mechanisms of Social Protection, funded by the European Union (EU) through the IPA 2013 financial instrument.

You can submit your comments on and suggestions to the Draft Social Protection Strategy for the  2019 – 2025 period by May 15, 2019 at the latest, by e-mailing them to strategija@zavodsz.gov.rs.

The Ministry will conduct consultative meetings with interested parties from April 15 to May 16, 2019.  The exact place and time of the meetings will be subsequently published. If you wish to apply for participating in the consultative meetings, you must sign up at  socialwelfare@niras.com.

Information on the results of the conducted consultations in the process of preparing the draft Social Protection Strategy for the 2019 – 2025 period will be published by the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs within 15 days from the day the consultations have been concluded.
