With the aim of increasing the planting of trees in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Environmental Protection issued a call for the allocation of funds from the Green Fund of the Republic of Serbia (hereinafter referred to as the Green Fund) for afforestation in 2019.

The funds of the Green Fund are allocated for the procurement of seedlings and the execution of works for afforestation of land with autochthonous types of trees and shrubs, on publicly owned land in the territory of local self-governmental units (cities and municipalities) and urban municipalities.
