Medvedja – Although the officials of the local self-government of Medvedja are among the kindest and most precise representatives of this multinational community, they are further trained in business etiquette. They were most recently trained by attending a lecture held by Professor Zoran Punosevac, the President of the Association for Quality and Standardization of Serbia.

"At the end of the training, the employees took the test, based on which they will be awarded the certificates. The training, which was held at the Municipal Assembly building, is part of the plan of professional development of municipal administration employees in 2018 and was held free of charge by Professor Zoran Punosevac, PhD, "said Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja.

The topics discussed at the lecture included, among other things, the art of communicating with citizens and business partners, the dress-code, considering that it is desirable to be dressed formally at work, the fact that the officials should not wait for the phone to ring more than three times, as well as the fact that a smile on the official’s face is something that goes without saying in the business world.

The project of standardizing the quality of service provided by the local self-government and the implementation of ISO 9001 will be completed on May 20, which is the Day of the Municipality of Medvedja, when the local self-government will be given the certificate.
