Vranje – The results of the survey on the satisfaction of the citizens in the southern and southwestern Serbia with the operation of their local administrations were presented in the small hall of the Assembly building of the city of Vranje. The project was, through the European Progress development program, financially supported by the European Union and the Swiss Government.
Marko Vujacic, the National European Progress Program Manager, said that the third consecutive cycle of the survey contained key findings that could serve as guidelines for further improvement of the operation of the local self-governments.
Ivo Colovic, and Bojan Klacar from CESID presented the results and the generally positive trends in most areas, concluding that citizens, compared to the previous two surveys, better evaluated the operation of their local administrations.
Nearly 8,500 respondents from 34 municipalities in the southern and southwestern Serbia participated in the research.
