Bujanovac, Vranje – Gordana Dimitrijevic, the Director of the Adult Education Center in Vranje, presented the certificates for scarce occupations to eight Roma persons from Bujanovac and Vranje Spa after they had undergone retraining at that public institution.

The course in re-training and additional training of the Roma persons from Bujanovac and Vranje Spa who completed primary and secondary schools was organized by the Youth Forum for the Education of Roma from Bujanovac and the Roma Cultural Center from Vranje Spa.
Upon completing the course and obtaining the certificates from the Adult Education Center in Vranje, which are recognized in foreign countries, too, the said Roma persons will be able to apply to the calls for applications issued by the National Employment Office and for those for starting their own businesses after receiving the grants.
The Youth Forum for the Education of Roma from Bujanovac, which is led by Kenan Rasitovic, and the Roma Cultural Center from Vranje Spa, which is led by coordinator Zvezdan Ramic, launched the implementation of the projects "Stop Child Labor" and "Prevention of Dropping Out of School by the Roma Children Who Start Working with their Parents," which are, through six main activities, implemented in the municipality of Bujanovac and the city of Vranje.
The first activity includes monthly material assistance to families for their most necessary household expenses, the second includes the monitoring of children through the educational system and confirmation of their presence in classes and other school activities, the third refers to the visits to Roma families when they are not doing seasonal work and to conversations with them, the fourth refers to the identification of institutional solutions on the basis of the results of the project implementation and the opinions of parents, the fifth is the involvement of Roma parents with primary and secondary school education in re-training and additional training for various deficient occupations, while the sixth activity includes the final presentation of the projects in Vranje.
