21 KG OF HEROIN DISCOVERED NEAR PRESEVO0

Source: Jugpress / Presevo – More than 21 kg of heroin were discovered on the Presevo border crossing last night.  The heroin was in the possession of a Turkish citizen.
 
The heroin was discovered thanks to a joint activity of the customs and the police. It was placed in the jeep’s spare wheel. The event took place at the entrance from Macedonia to Serbia, while the jeep’s driver was a Turkish national.

The drugs were discovered by the use of a mobile scanner, which is at the customs’ disposal.  Following the jeeps’ examination, the mobile scanner devise showed that the jeep’s wheel was filled with a great deal of small parcels.

The total quantity of discovered heroin was 21 kilograms and 152 grams, which was packed in 39 parcels; it was said in the statement.

222 MILLION DINARS: NEW PROJECTS FOR BUJANOVAC, PRESEVO AND MEDVEDJA0

Source: Tanjug Press Agency / According to the data provided by the Coordination Body’s Office, 102.5 million dinars were earmarked in 2012 for Presevo, 90.7 for Bujanovac and 28.8 for Medvedja.  The most important projects include the out-patient maternity ward and the Faculty of Economics.

Olivera Milosevic, the Head of the "Green Key" organization, said that the project began to be implemented in October 2012, thanks to the donation of the “Philip Morris” tobacco company.

A Regular Meeting of the Presidency of the Coordination Body for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja will be held in Bujanovac at 1 pm today. The session will, among others, be attended by the Coordination Body’s President, Zoran Stankovic, and by presidents of the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, who are also Vice Presidents of the body. The topics to be discussed at the session include a report on the work done in 2012  and the activities planned for this year.

(Tanjug News Agency) President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia  for  the municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, Zoran Stankovic, expects that the issue of a monument to the fighters of the so-called Liberation Army of PMB  will be resolved in a peaceful and dignified manner, including the enforcement of laws of the Republic of Serbia and  requests to be invited to a joint meeting of the parliaments of the three municipalities, which is scheduled for Saturday.

Firstly the company gave them the unpaid wages, while it owed them 15 wages three years ago.  With the support of the Development Fund, the owed wages were almost fully paid off to them by the end of last year.
