Leskovac – The "Captain Misa Anastasijevic" awards for the area of Jablanica and Pcinj Districts were presented in Leskovac. Among the awarded persons were Prof. Zoran Stankovic, PhD, President of the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, the municipality of Vladicin, Milica Ivanovic, a journalist and the Leskovac-based company “Mladost i Keramika.” The "Captain Misa Anastasijevic" award is part of the "Road to the Top" project that started 18 years ago.
Zoran Stankovic, who could not come to the award-giving ceremony due to his work commitments, was awarded for his contribution to the development of South Serbia, tolerance and trust.
The "Captain Misa Anastasijevic" award has been, as part of the "Road to the Top" project, awarded since 2000 both at the regional and national level. As of 2016, the project has been implemented in Republika Srpska, too.
The awards are given by the Novi Sad-based “Media Invent” trading, marketing and propaganda company, in cooperation with the universities of Belgrade and Novi Sad and the Vojvodina Chamber of Commerce.
