The Embassy of Canada in the Republic of Serbia issued a call for project proposals for the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).

The CFLI finances small projects that boost democratic, economic, cultural and social life of the people of Serbia. The CFLI is available for NGOs and civil society organizations.

This year, projects in several priority areas will be supported:

– Gender equality and empowerment of women and girls,

– Inclusive governance, including diversity, democracy, human rights and the rule of law,

– Peace and safety and security, with a focus on conflict prevention and peace building.

The maximum grant amount per project is CAD $ 25,000.

The deadline for applications is April 29, 2018.
