The Red Cross works in partnership with all players in the community for the benefit of the community and helps ensure that sufficient blood reserves are available for our health care system.

A large number of the planned voluntary blood donation actions have been cancelled due to the measures to prevent the spread of the corona virus.  Blood requirements, of course, have not been canceled.

Voluntary blood donation activities are conducted according to the planned schedule, since blood is constantly needed by patients.

The Red Cross warns citizens not to come for blood donations if:

• They traveled outside Serbia over the past 28 days,

• They have a cold, cough and sneeze,

•  They have fever,

• They were in contact with a sick person whose symptoms resembled a corona virus infection.

This will help keep blood reserves stable.
