As part of the project "Improving the Safety of Women in Serbia", UN Women in Serbia invites civil society organizations registered in Serbia, which have experience in working on combating violence against women and girls, to submit project proposals. The proposals should be based on raising the awareness of women in rural areas about measures and players responsible for protecting women from violence and gender-based discrimination.

The selected organizations will be supported to conduct a comprehensive multi-sectorial set of activities aimed at increasing the knowledge of women in rural areas, especially of women from vulnerable groups facing multiple discrimination, to identify and report cases of violence against women and girls and/or gender-based discrimination.

The project proposals, along with all the necessary documents, should be submitted to UN Women at grants.serbia@unwomen.org , no later than January 18, 2021, by 11.30 pm.
