As part of the 10th Call for Applications, the UNESCO will receive proposals for innovative projects aimed at strengthening the cultural and creative sector in developing countries through:
• Introduction and/or elaboration of practical policies and strategies that have a direct impact on the creation, production, distribution and access to diverse cultural expressions
• Strengthening the human and institutional capacities of the public sector and civil society organizations that are considered necessary to support sustainable local and regional cultural industries and markets in developing countries
The maximum amount of funds that can be claimed per project is 100,000 US Dollars.
Eligible to apply are public authorities, public institutions and non-governmental organizations from developing countries that are members of the Convention on the Protection and Improvement of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions (UNESCO, 2005), including the Republic of Serbia, as well as international non-governmental organizations.
