The “Ana and Vlade Divac” Foundation, in cooperation with a group of donors from the USA, issued a call for RSK scholarships for students who enroll in the first, second, third or fourth grade of secondary school in the Republic of Serbia in 2020, according to pre-set requirements.
The “Ana and Vlade Divac” Foundation, in cooperation with a group of donors from the USA, issued a call for RSK scholarships for students who enroll in the first, second, third or fourth grade of secondary school in the Republic of Serbia in 2020, according to pre-set requirements.
Eligible to apply for the scholarships are students who enroll in the first, second, third or fourth grade of secondary school in September 2020, the founder of which is the Republic of Serbia, an autonomous province or a local self-governmental unit, who achieve excellent results in learning and conduct at school and whose at least one parent/guardian had a refugee status in the Republic of Serbia and fled the Republic of Croatia from the following municipalities: Benkovac, Vojnic, Vrginmost, Glina, Gracac, Dvor, Donji Lapac, Drnis, Knin, Korenica, Kostajnica, Krnjak, Obrovac, Petrinja, Plaski, Slunj, Zadar, Caprag, Grubisno Polje, Daruvar, Okucani, Pakrac, Slatina, Beli Manastir, Vukovar, Dalj, Mirkovci and Tenja.
Students of the first, second, third or fourth grade of secondary school who achieve a very good and excellent general success in school (from school mark 4.00 out of 5.00 to school mark 5.00 out of 5.00), and whose one or both parents/guardians have evidence that they have fled the above municipalities can apply for the award of student scholarships. Candidates who have not received this scholarship so far, and who come from vulnerable social groups (materially endangered families, single-parent families, persons with disabilities, child/parent suffering from chronic diseases, etc.) will have a special advantage in awarding scholarships.
A total of 50 scholarships will be awarded, which will be paid on a monthly basis during the school year (10 months), and in a monthly amount of 5,000 dinars.
