The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure issued a call for the award of grants from the budget of the Republic of Serbia in 2020 to co-finance the preparation of planning documents of local self-governmental units in the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The call refers to the following:

– The spatial plan of the local self-governmental unit,

– A general regulation plan for a settlement that is the seat of a local self-governmental unit, and

– A detailed regulation plan for line infrastructure facilities,

for the purpose of developing populated places and providing quality preconditions for the realization of investments in the field of construction, infrastructure, industry and other economic branches of local self-governmental units in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

The total amount of funds allocated for the public call is 30,000,000.00 (thirty million) dinars, and is provided under the Law on the Budget Law of the Republic of Serbia for 2020.

The funds allocated by the Ministry for the co-financing of an individual planning document may not exceed the amount of 2,000,000.00 (two million) dinars, or 50% of the cost of drawing up the plan.  

Eligible to get the funds are local self-governmental units from the territory of the Republic of Serbia that have provided in their budgets for 2020 portions of their own funds for drafting the planning document for which they are applying. The local self-governmental units that have already received funding from the Ministry in the previous years for drafting a planning document are not eligible to participate in the call for the same planning document.

Local self-governmental units may apply for the co-financing of 1 (one) planning document. 

The Ministry reserves the right not to accept applications from the local self-governmental units which have been allocated funds based on public calls conducted by the Ministry in the previous years, which failed to fulfill their obligations within the agreed deadlines or with which cooperation was unsatisfactory.

The deadline for submitting applications is 30 (thirty) days from the date of announcement of the public call on the Ministry's website (www.mgsi.gov.rs ), while the deadline for fulfilling the contracted obligations of the local self-governmental unit is December 31, 2021.

Applications for the call are to be sent by post to: The Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure – The Sector for Spatial and Urban Planning, Nemanjina 22-26, 11000 Belgrade, with the note ″ Application for the Allocation of Funds to Local Self-Governmental Units for Drafting Planning Documents ″, or directly to the records office of the republican bodies (in a sealed envelope with the full address of the sender on the back of the envelope).
