The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management isued a call for the allocation of funds for the execution of works on the protection, development and use of agricultural land in 2019.

This competition determines the documentation that must be submitted along with the application, other criteria for exercising the right to assets and the method of grading certain criteria for the execution of works on the protection, development and use of agricultural land, or for new investments, which include:

1) Investment and geodetic-technical works;

2) Improvement in the quality of arable land;

3) Procurement of new irrigation equipment;

4) Digging wells for the purpose of irrigation;

5) Study and research works, programs and projects in the field of protection and use of agricultural land that is of importance for the Republic of Serbia;

6) Study and research works, programs and projects in the field of protection and use of agricultural land in terms of the detection of the use of agricultural land in the state property, which is of importance for the Republic of Serbia;

7) Study and research works, programs and projects in the field of developing agricultural land that is of importance for the Republic of Serbia.

The beneficiary of funds for works on new investments and other investments in protection, development and use of agricultural land can be:

1) Local self-governmental unit,

2) Physical entity,

3) Scientific and research organization: an institution of higher education and an institute accredited by the Committee for Accreditation of Scientific and Research Organizations in the Field of Biotechnical Sciences – Agriculture, founded by the Republic of Serbia,

4)  Scientific and Research Organization for Determining the Use of Agricultural Land in State Owned Property: an accredited institute;

5) ) Institution: a secondary vocational school in the field of agriculture and a two-year post-secondary vocational school in the field of agriculture founded by the Republic of Serbia,

6) Company;

7) Entrepreneur,  and

8) Agricultural cooperative.
