The Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs issued a public call for grants to support the associations’ projects in the field of economic empowerment of women from rural areas.

 The aim of the public call is to improve the economic position and the status of women living in rural areas.

Funding for the call, totaling 3,000,000.00 dinars, was provided under the Law on Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2018 ("Official Gazette of the RS", No. 113/17).

The maximum amount that may be claimed is 300,000.00 dinars. 

The expected starting date for the implementation of the selected projects is October 25, 2018.

Entitled to apply are the associations (specified in more detail in the Guidelines) that have been entered in the Catalogue of Associations of the Agency for Business Registers:

• Those operating in the territory of the Republic of Serbia;

–  Whose goals, according to the statutory provisions, are achieved in the field of economic empowerment of women;

– Those that have the necessary capacity to implement the proposed projects.  

Interested associations may submit their applications and proposals until 3.30 pm on August 14, 2018.
