The Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications has launched a public call for proposals for the financing of tourism development projects in 2020.
The call provides incentives for projects for the promotion of tourism products, tourist destinations and tourist areas of Serbia and the promotion of tourism and catering, the promotion and implementation of statistical surveys and the methodology of satellite accounts, as well as the projects for education and training in tourism.
Non-profit institutions have the right to use the funds.
The following criteria will be observed when allocating funds:
1) Project references: project area, length of project, total number of persons required to complete the project;
2) Fulfillment of the objectives, or the impact on the development of tourism products and tourist areas, as well as compliance with the Tourism Development Strategy;
3) Assessment of the proportionality of the funds sought and the expected results;
4) Sustainability of the project;
5) Provided co-financing from other sources: one’s own earnings, the budget of the Republic of Serbia, the autonomous province or the local self-governmental unit, EU funds, donations, legacies, loans etc;
6) Fulfillment of contractual obligations for the funds approved in the previous period.
The request for the use of subsidies and grants is submitted to the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Department of Tourism, Nemanjina 22-26, Belgrade, only via mail or the Administrative Office of the Ministry.
