The Youth Disability Forum and the Association of Students with Disabilities issued a call for project proposals of civil society organizations working with youth, as part of the competition called "Active Inclusion of Young People with Disabilities in Civil Society Activities".
The call is published as part of the project "Digital and Media Literacy of Youth with Disabilities". The project is being implemented by the Forum for Youth with Disabilities, in partnership with the Association of Students with Disabilities, the Youth Association of Serbia and the Secons-Group for Development Initiative. Project collaborators include the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Government of Serbia's Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Team. The project is supported by the European Union as part of the “Civil Society Facility and Media Program 2016-2017.”
The overall objective of the competition is to improve the participation of young people with disabilities in the local community through the use of digital and media literacy.
The activities for the supported projects can be implemented in one or more local self-governmental units in the Republic of Serbia.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is November 22, 2019.
