The "Ana and Vlade Divac" Foundation issued a call for the award of scholarships to students of agriculture or veterinary medicine who enrolled in the first year of study in the territory of the Republic of Serbia in the 2020-2021 school year, according to pre-set requirements.

For the first time this year, the Foundation will award 3 scholarships to selected students of the Faculty of Agriculture or Veterinary Medicine, in memory of Nada Obradovic, who was a great lover of the village, nature and people. She is the founder of the Divac Agricultural Fund, within which over 1,000 of the most endangered households received support for a dignified life and work in the countryside. She tirelessly and selflessly shared her life with everyone who needed help, leaving an indelible mark among those who knew her and shared life with her.

Eligible to apply are students of the Faculty of Agriculture or Veterinary Medicine founded by the Republic of Serbia, who are enrolled for the first time in the first year of the faculty, and whose education is financed from the budget of the Republic of Serbia. Candidates should have citizenship of and residence in the territory of the Republic of Serbia.

Only those candidates who had an average school mark of at least 4.50 out of 5.00 for each school year in the previous 3 school years (secondary school) will be taken into account, which is to be supported by the necessary documentation. Candidates with registered residence in one of the villages of Serbia, whose families have registered agricultural farms, will have a special advantage when awarding the scholarships. Preference will also be given to candidates from vulnerable social groups (materially endangered families, single-parent families, refugee and displaced families, students with disabilities, student/parent with chronic diseases, etc.).

The call is open until October 16, 2020 at 12 o'clock noon.
