The Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Team of the Government of the Republic of Serbia issued a call for taking four interns, who will be given the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills through a three-month internship, as well as direct experience in the domain and areas of work of the Team.
The Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Team of the Government of the Republic of Serbia issued a call for taking four interns, who will be given the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills through a three-month internship, as well as direct experience in the domain and areas of work of the Team.
The selected interns will support the Team members in carrying out their day-to-day activities within the project "Supporting the Promotion of Social Inclusion in the Republic of Serbia". The internship will take place on the Team’s premises in Belgrade, 4 hours a day, for a period of three months (from September to November 2019 or from October to December 2019).
Interested candidates should meet the following requirements:
- That they are in their final year or have graduated from a two-year post-secondary school or faculty in the fields of economics, law, social policy and other social sciences;
- That they have volunteer/activist experience in civil society organizations and/or
- That they have completed practice or internship program in state institutions;
- That they have basic computer skills;
- That they have knowledge of the English language;
- Previous research experience is preferred.
Members of vulnerable groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
The application should contain the following information:
- CV in English;
Letter of motivation (stating why you want to become part of the Team and how you see your contribution to the work of the Team; maximum 300 words; in Serbian or English);
- Optional: a letter of recommendation or a certificate of volunteering/internship completed at some other civil society organization/institution.
