The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in partnership with the Office of Information Technology and Electronic Administration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, invites all interested civil society organizations, the media and state institutions of higher learning to apply for the competition in the field of open data.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP), in partnership with the Office of Information Technology and Electronic Administration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, invites all interested civil society organizations, the media and state institutions of higher learning to apply for the competition in the field of open data.
The competition is conducted as part of the project "Open Data – Open Opportunities", which is supported by the World Bank, the Good Governance Fund UK (GGF) and the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA).
The aim of the competition is to contribute to the development of an ecosystem of open data in Serbia by encouraging the use of open data by public institutions, the promotion of different applications and uses of open data, as well as capacity building of different target groups for processing and creative use of open data.
The competition provides for support to the projects that contribute to one of three different areas:
1. The re-use of open data
2. Community building and promotion
3. Capacity building for the use of open data (training).
The deadline for the submission of applications is September 30, 2018, until midnight, while the applications are to be submitted electronically to grants.rs@undp.org.
