The Institute for the Advancement of Education – the Center for Professional Development of Education-Related Employees announced the ninth award competition "Learned at the Seminar – Applied in Practice".

With the aim of developing and promoting the culture of applying the knowledge and skills developed in the training of approved programs of continuous professional development, the Institute for the Advancement of Education (IAE) invites employees in pre-school institutions, elementary/secondary schools and student dormitories to take part in the competition and thus share the experiences that have contributed to the improvement of their practice.

Teachers, educators and professional associates are invited to submit their works that represent examples of good practice in educational work. The works should be innovative, original and should stand out when it comes to the effects they achieved, sustainability and involvement of partners from the local and/or wider community. 

The work submitted to the competition can be a product of a team work or a product of an individual's work.

The works that have the right to participate in the competition are as follows:

• Those that relate to the demonstration of the application of developed knowledge and skills during the training of approved programs by the IAE in the last five years, 
• Those that did not participate in any other competitions,
• Those that are edited, written in Cyrillic, in the Times New Roman font size 12.

Works that do not meet the requirements of the competition shall not be taken into consideration.

The deadline for submitting the applications is October 15, 2019.

Signing up is done by completing the online application that is available on  https://zavod.edu.rs/upitnik-saznali-na-seminaru-2019/.

The works, which comply with the requirements of the competition, are evaluated by the commission appointed by the Director of the IAE. The selected examples of good practice will be  in an electronic database on the IAE’s website. The authors of the best examples of good practice will present their work to the Central Commission, while the three best works will be rewarded.
