BUJANOVAC MARKET REDUCED IN SIZE BY HALF THIS MONDAY

Bujanovac- Despite the good weather, there were fewer buyers and sellers at the Bujanovac market on Monday.

Bujanovac- Despite the good weather, there were fewer buyers and sellers at the Bujanovac market on Monday.

The state of emergency has made its mark, so that King Milutin Street was not alive as usual.

“People come, buy what they need and run away, no one lingers.  We brought the goods to the market this Monday, too, we have to, the whole family lives on what we produce and sell”, says the saleswoman from the village of Rakovac, adding that there was a noticeable drop in turnover, although they did not increase the prices of vegetables and cheese they sell.

Fruit sellers say the same.

On Monday, which is the first day of the state of emergency due to the coronavirus, fruits and vegetables are not the most important items for customers, while the largest crowds are in front of the counters with sanitary and hygiene products.

The reporter who visits the market every Monday noted that there were not many permanent sellers that day, as well as that the prices on the counters were normal.
