Bujanovac – The Bujanovac Association of Teachers (BAT), which was established three years ago,  joined the humanitarian campaign "Smiles Thanks to Plastic Bottle Caps", which was launched in Novi Sad in 2012.

The goal of the campaign is to collect money through the recycling of plastic bottle caps to provide assistance with the inclusion of children with disabilities or developmental disabilities in the educational process.

“The Bujanovac Association of Teachers (BAT), along with students and citizens, collects plastic bottle caps, which will soon be sent to the recycling center.  Naturally, the campaign is organized by the Novi Sad Association “Smiles Thanks to Plastic Bottle Caps", of which it will be informed in a few days,” Snezana Mitic, the Head of the BAT, said. 

Along with the request for taking over the collected bottle caps, the Bujanovac Association of Teachers will send the request for receiving the money collected during the humanitarian campaign.

“Our school is one of the educational institutions in Serbia where there are students who need this kind of help. The funds raised in the campaign will come in handy for some other children in some other schools and kindergartens. I invite all people of good will to join in this humane gesture, "Snezana Mitic urged.

The "Smiles Thanks to Plastic Bottle Caps" campaign has a triple role. In addition to recycling waste and raising awareness about the protection and preservation of the environment, it develops the humanity and solidarity in children and adults.
