Bujanovac, Medvedja – Based on 1,160 bits of data on the resources and potentials of the local self-governments, the municipality of Bujanovac is, among 34 local self- governments in the southern and southwestern Serbia in which the European Progress program implements its projects, in the fifth, and the municipality of Medvedja in the sixth place in the sphere of competitiveness for potential investors.  

First place on the list is held by the city of Leskovac. The research was done on the basis of the data provided by the local self-governments themselves.

The sequence of the cities and municipalities on the list is as follows: Leskovac, Nova Varos, Novi Pazar, Vranje, Bujanovac, Medvedja, Knjazevac, Vlasotince, Raska and Bela Palanka, while Bosilegrad, Vladicin Han, Babusnica and Lebane are at the bottom of the list. 

The website Competitiveness of Cities and Municipalities, which is, through the European Progress program, funded by the European Union and the Government of Switzerland, will be available in late September or early October.
