Bujanovac – The “Megal’ joint stock company from Bujanovac announced that it would start producing the pellet boiler "Biomega, the energy efficiency of which would be 90 percent and which would be able to heat the premises of up to 350 square meters.
Dragoljub Kostic, the Director of the company, said that the price of the boiler on the market would range from 1,300 and 1,600 euros, depending on its energy intensity.
"I reckon that we will deliver the first quantities of our new product, which uses the Italian electronics, to the Macedonian market, where we have already agreed to export 2,000 boilers, which is the export worth over a million euros," Mr. Kostic said.
He stated that, thanks to the support of the Development Fund of Serbia, 300,000 euros had been obtained for the purchase of fiber lasers for cutting sheet metal, which would significantly improve the quality of production of solid fuel boilers, which is the main activity of the company.
“Due to the increased volume of production, the vacancies for welders and engineers at our company are constantly open, as we are expected to implement a production plan of 3,000 boilers and market them by the end of the year, which is a constant increase in production," the Director of “Megal” said.
“Megal” employs around 140 workers whose average salary is around 35,000 dinars per month. The largest part of the capital is owned by small shareholders, while the state has a 33 percent share of the most successful company in the Bujanovac municipality.
