Bujanovac – The Commission for granting one-off student financial assistance has made a decision on granting scholarships to 720 university students from the municipality of Bujanovac.

As Driton Redzepi, the Chairman of the Commission and the Head of the Municipal Department of Public Services, said, the Commission had processed 769 applications, 49 of which were rejected due to incomplete documentation.

The students who have met the requirements of the competition in the academic year 2019/2020 will be allocated a total of 10 million dinars, which the local self-government has been allocating for this purpose for several years.

The individual amount of one-off financial assistance will be determined on the basis of success in the studies, or the average grades.

“Students with an average grade of 9 out of 10 and above that can count on a cash grant of around 22,000 dinars, while others will receive less,” said Mr. Rdzhepi.

Candidates who are rejected are entitled to appeal within 8 days.
