Belgrade – The Australian embassy in Belgrade is implementing the Direct Aid Program (DAP) that supports local small-value development projects, which have a direct positive impact on the community.
Belgrade – The Australian embassy in Belgrade is implementing the Direct Aid Program (DAP) that supports local small-value development projects, which have a direct positive impact on the community.
The priorities of the program are as follows:
- Promotion of human rights and freedom of expression, with particular focus on building democratic institutions.
- Empowerment of women and girls, with the focus on economic empowerment.
- Assistance to vulnerable groups, including people with disability.
- Support to environmental awareness.
- Promotion of youth sports and inclusion of women and girls.
Who can apply: non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations and other organizations that need the resources for implementing the above-mentioned priorities.
Deadline for submitting project proposals: September 16, 2016.
Successful applicants will be contacted by October 15, 2016.
