APPLICATIONS FOR THE FIFTH DIGITAL JOURNALISM SCHOOL IN SERBIA ARE OPEN (DEADLINE: MARCH 24, 2020)

The Slavko Curuvija Foundation organizes the Fifth School of Digital Journalism in Serbia. The application process is open until March 24, while the program runs from April 25 to June 28.

The Slavko Curuvija Foundation organizes the Fifth School of Digital Journalism in Serbia. The application process is open until March 24, while the program runs from April 25 to June 28.

According to the Foundation, the School is intended for employed and unemployed journalists and students of journalism between the ages of 20 and 35. Knowledge of computer work is required, while preference will be given to those who work for local media.

In addition to the skills required to work in the digital environment, participants will gain insight into the methods and experiences of investigative and analytical journalists, while a special part of the program will be dedicated to ethical standards.

The largest part of the school's activities will be organized online, within a flexible timetable, while there will be three live weekend workshops with covered travel and accommodation costs. 

The speakers will include Pavle Zlatic, former editor-in-chief of B92, Antonela Riha, a journalist and the former editor at B92, NIN and RTS, Tamara Skroza, a journalist for Vreme weekly, FoNet, Cenzolovka and a member of the Commission for Complaints of the Press Council, Perica Gunjić, editor-in-chief of the Cenzolovka website and many other well-known journalists.
