The Ministry of Culture and Information has invited journalistic and media associations, which have been registered for at least three years before the date of issuing the call in the field of public information for 2020, to propose members of the selection boards, as well as media experts interested in participating in the operation of the selection boards.
The Ministry said in a statement that it had issued nine calls for which RSD 274 million had been earmarked. The calls for applications, which run until January 10, 2020, have been launched in order to provide financial support to the media contents that contribute to the public interest in the field of public information, as well as to co-finance the projects of organizing and participating in professional, scientific and informal meetings, thus improving professional and ethical standards.
The publishers whose media outlets are registered in the Media Register, which is kept by the Business Registers Agency, in accordance with the Law on Public Information and Media, have the right to participate.
Legal entities or entrepreneurs engaged in the production of media contents, who enclose proof that the co-financed media contents will be realized through the media entered in the Media Register, have the right to participate in the call, too.
The decisions on the allocation of funds will be made no later than 90 days from the day of closing the call.
