The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development has published a new Annual Report on the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for the Development of Education in Serbia until 2020.

This document builds on the previous Report on the implementation of the Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy for the period from the beginning of 2015 to  mid- 2018 and covers the main activities and results achieved in the other two action plans of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, in the part concerning education: the National Minorities’ Rights Action Plan, which is available on https://ljudskaprava.gov.rs/sites/default/files/prilog_fajl/akcioni_plan_za_sprovodjenje_prava_nacionalnih_manjina_-_sa_semaforom.pdf , and the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Strategy for Social Inclusion of Roma in the Republic of Serbia, which is available on   https://www.ljudskaprava.gov.rs/sites/default/files/prilog_fajl/akcioni_plan_za_primenu_strategije_za_socijalno_ukljufivanje_roma_i_romkinja_u_rs_2016-2025_za_period_od_2017._do_2018._godine.pdf

The report provides an overview of the implemented strategic policies, actions and measures at all levels of education according to the main goals of educational development: increasing the quality and coverage, reaching and maintaining the relevance of education and increasing efficiency, but it also includes additional specific objectives for their development. Due to the socio-economic changes and demands that have emerged since the Strategy was adopted, additional results and responses of the education authorities to priority needs such as inclusive education, education of members of national minorities (from page 125 to page 132) and of Roma (from page 132 to page 139) were presented, too.
