According to Stojanca Arsic, the Deputy Head of the Center for Emergency Situations of the municipality of Bujanovac, all roads are currently passable.
"Mechanization is kept on standby, while the staff of the center constantly monitors the situation on the ground," Mr. Arsic said.
“Saba Belca”, a company from Presevo, which got the important job through a tender, is responsible for maintaining the roads in the area of the municipality of Bujanovac during the winter period.
The streets of the city of Bujanovac, onto which salt has been scattered, have been cleaned, and are currently not covered by snow.
Shop owners are trying to manually clean the part of the sidewalk in front of their shops.
