Young people from Bujanovac joined in the campaign. The “Civic Initiatives” NGO established a crisis center, which alerted the international network of civil society organizations and donors.
"The Civic Initiatives had the appeal for aid translated into over 20 languages, which they, thereafter, sent to all the organizations that can provide aid," said Ana Manic, Coordinator of the Youth Build program.
We are gathered here, everyone brought what they could and the campaign goes on. Now we'll collect the money to purchase what is necessary, "says Milica Markovic, a volunteer.
All municipalities of the Pcinj district will continue to collect aid for flood victims. Aid for animals is being collected by the “Best Friend” and “Vranje Cynologists” associations.
