AID FOR THE MOST VULNERABLE PEOPLE IN MEDVEDJA ARRIVED

Medvedja – The Radio Medvedja portal reported that 560 food packages, 560 hygiene products packages and 5600 kg of flour for the most vulnerable residents of the municipality of Medvedja had been delivered to the Red Cross Branch Office in Medvedja.

The aid was, through the Red Cross of Serbia, provided by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Ljuljeta Kosumi, the Secretary of the Red Cross Branch Office in Medvedja, said that that was just one of the activities of the Red Cross Branch Office in Medvedja, and highlighted as very important the operation of the Soup Kitchen, the beneficiaries of which were more than satisfied.

In addition to the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the implementation of the Soup Kitchen project was financially supported by the local self-government, with which the Red Cross Branch Office in Medvedja cooperates very well.
