Medvedja – Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja, in the presence of Svetlana Todorovic, Head of the Municipal Administration, signed, with media representatives, agreements on co-financing the projects for achieving public interest in the field of public information, for which that local self-government had allocated 4.7 million dinars.

The Commission held a session on April 26, 2017. Radoman Irić from Vranje chaired the session and supervised the operation of the Commission. The Commission inspected in detail each of the 22 projects received and unanimously concluded to approve the funds to 11 project applicants, while in the opinion of the Commission, the funds were not approved for 11 projects.
“This solemn moment comes today and I congratulate you. I hope that you will use these financial resources to improve your informing and the operation of your media outlets. I sincerely hope that a lot of good news will be disseminated from the municipality, since it is our wish and goal to make a nice place out of Medvedja, so that the young would stay at their homes,” said Nebojsa Arsic, the Mayor of Medvedja. He also gave nice gifts to media representatives.
The funds were received by the following media outlets: Radio "Medvedja," "Info Center South", "Info Press", "Keep in Touch", RTV "4", "Jugmedia", "Diary of the South", "Our New Word" "Lugina Line", "Sana Life" and "TV K-1".
