Bujanovac – Members of the Bujanovac Municipal Assembly elected Adnan Salihu, a member of the Movement for Democratic Progress (PDP) party, to the position of the new President of the local parliament.

25 councilors voted for the successor of Jonuz Musliju as the President of the Municipal Assembly, six were against, while those from the opposition Democratic Party (DP) did not vote.

Mr. Salihu was elected to that position instead of the deceased PDP Leader Jonuz Musliu, who had held the post since the last local elections.

Mr. Salihu said that he would advocate that the Assembly made the decisions that would positively affect the quality of life of the citizens.

The new President of the Municipal Assembly of Bujanovac is a specialist in general medicine at the Bujanovac Health Center, is married and the father of three children.
