MEDVEDJA:  ARMY PROVIDES FOR THE LONELY AND ELDERLY BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF WINTER

Medvedja – Members of the Third Training Centre of the Serbian Army and the Red Cross visited the residents of the village of Stuble, which is situated at the foot of Babin Zub Mountain that is one of the most remote mountain villages in the municipality of Medvedja.

Medvedja – Members of the Third Training Centre of the Serbian Army and the Red Cross visited the residents of the village of Stuble, which is situated at the foot of Babin Zub Mountain that is one of the most remote mountain villages in the municipality of Medvedja. 

As part of the “Humanity at Work” campaign, they provided for the remaining seventy highlanders all the necessary supplies before the upcoming winter. Voluntary financial contributions of members of the said center were used for purchasing 15 packages of clothes and food, which the officer for civil- military cooperation presented to the children in the village.  Also, 22 most vulnerable households in the village of Stuble received humanitarian assistance  from the Red Cross. 

Captain Petar Kostic said that the Army used every opportunity to be with its people and help them as much as it could.
