Medvedja –  Medical workers from Medvedja marked the Patron Saint’s Day of medical workers by the ritual cutting of the Patron Saint’s Day’s cake at the "Geyser" Hotel in Sijarinska Spa.

Apart from doctors and other staff of the Health Center in Medvedja, the marking of the Patron Saint’s Day was attended by representatives of the local self-government, headed by the Mayor Nebojsa Arsic, MD, as well as by representatives of other public companies and institutions. The host of the Patron Saint’s Day celebration, who organized a reception at the hotel in Sijarinska Spa, was Dragan Andjelkovic, MD.

The Mayor of Medvedja congratulated the Patron Saint’s Day to all medical workers, as well as to the believers who celebrated it.

November 14 is the day when the Holy Healers, which is the Patron Saint’s Day of doctors, are celebrated. The Medical Chamber of Serbia officially declared that day as its Patron Saint’s Day in 2007.
