TRAINING FOR THE FUTURE OF TEXTILE WORKERS FROM BUJANOVAC BEGINS AT “YUMCO”

Vranje, Bujanovac – The training of fifty candidates from the municipality of Bujanovac who have chosen to work in the textile industry is to begin at the Vranje-based “Yumco” company on February 1,” said Branislav Popovic, the Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board.

Vranje, Bujanovac – The training of fifty candidates from the municipality of Bujanovac who have chosen to work in the textile industry is to begin at the Vranje-based “Yumco” company on February 1,” said Branislav Popovic, the Chairman of the company’s Supervisory Board.

He also said that the training would be conducted on a voluntary basis and that "Yumco" would cover the costs of the trainees’ transportation and breakfast.

“The training takes up to 90 days. It is not "Yumco" that decides on where the workers will be assigned upon completion of the training. It is not yet known whether these workers will be engaged in Bujanovac, where a manufacturing plant should start operating.  The Ministry of Economy is to decide about it. If the new manufacturing plant does start operating, the trained textile workers will be working for this company from Vranje, given that jobs for the police and the Army of Serbia were provided for 2017,” Mr. Popovic said.
