A call for school competition, which is intended for all male and female secondary school and grammar school students in 34 municipalities of South East and South West Serbia where the European Progress program is implemented, was issued on February 17, 2017. The interested students, along with their teachers, will be able to propose a project that would contribute to a better quality of education and improvement of working conditions and learning at the school. The team which has the best ideas and skills will be given the resources to implement their project.
The submission of applications will run until March 20, 2017, after which the voting for the top eight project proposals, four from South East Serbia and four from South West Serbia, will be organized on the website "Europe it's you" http://evropatositi.rs./ . Then, eight teams whose projects win the most votes online will participate in the semi-final competition in Nis, where they will compete in knowledge about the topics related to the European Union and the European integration process, which are presented on the application "Europe to Go" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=rs.bos.evropazaponeti&hl=sr. The final competition will be held in Novi Pazar in May, while two winning teams will receive funds in the amount of 100,000 dinars for the implementation of their proposed projects.

The municipalities included in the European Progress program, which is implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), are Novi Pazar, Ivanjica, Nova Varos, Priboj, Prijepolje, Raska, Sjenica and Tutin in the southwest of Serbia, and Prokuplje, Blace, Zitorađa, Kursumlija, Leskovac, Bojnik, Vlasotince, Lebane, Medvedja, Crna Trava, Vranje, Bosilegrad, Bujanovac, Vladicin Han, Presevo, Surdulica, Trgoviste, Brus, Aleksinac, Gadzin Han, Doljevac, Merosina, Svrljig, Babusnica, Bela Palanka and Knjazevac in the southeastern part of the country.
