Bujanovac – The “Vuk Karadzic” community center in Bujanovac is going to host the traditional Easter festivities this year, too.

The said institution is going to organize the traditional “Easter Egg” exhibition, as well as the Easter event.  

Vladimir Stojkovic, a Senior Associate for Cultural Activities, reminds the citizens that these events take place on the second and third day of the holiday. 

“Traditionally, the best decorated Easter egg and the best art work on the topic will be selected. I take this opportunity to invite all interested citizens of Bujanovac and the surrounding area to bring their works to the premises of the community center not later than Friday, April 14," Mr.Stojkovic said.

The works will be exhibited at the hall of the community center on Monday and Tuesday (April 17 and 18), while the Easter event will take place at the large hall of the community center on the second day of the holiday, commencing at 7 pm. This year's Easter celebrations will be the tenth in a row, which means the jubilee ones.

Performers in the Easter event include students of the “Branko Radicevic” elementary school and members of the “Soko” folk ensemble.
