Medvedja – A meeting with representatives of seventeen local communities was held at the assembly hall of the municipality of Medvedja, who gathered together to summarize the results achieved this year.

Representatives of the local communities presented their problems so that what was alarming for them could be taken into account when designing the 2018 budget, considering that people in the field had problems with power-supply and telephone lines, as well as with local roads.  

Apart from the local community representatives, the meeting was attended by Mayor Nebojsa Arsic and his assistants Lemja Djema and Radomir Radovanovic.

“I suggest that I visit two local communities every month in order to familiarize myself with your specific problems, "Mayor Arsic said.

The plan is also to change the statute of the municipality of Medvedja for the purpose of finding a solution for all local communities to get their legal representatives, since nine of them do not have them. 

At the end of the meeting, it was concluded that funds planned for the 2018 budget should be determined on the basis of top priorities, in accordance with the needs of the local communities.
