Medvedja – Thanks to the financial assistance that the Coordination Body’s Office of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja provided to the municipality of Medvedja, the Veterinary Station in Medvedja will be undertaking biosafety measures in farm animal hygiene in the area of the municipality of Medvedja.

As part of the campaign, systematic pest control and disinfection will be conducted for the purpose of preventing the spread of infectious diseases. The amount that the municipality of Medvedja earmarked for the veterinary station from the funds received from the Coordination Body’s Office for the Municipalities of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja is 200,000 dinars.

This is another in a series of activities that the municipality of Medvedja undertakes together with the Coordination Body. Owing to the aforementioned activity, the effectiveness of the prevention of infectious diseases, which the livestock in the area has been faced with over the past few years, will increased.
