Bujanovac – Due to a state of emergency in the country, the Basic court in Bujanovac postponed most major hearings and procedural actions, except for certain criminal and urgent cases, as well as those where there is a risk of statute of limitations. 

The court will handle criminal cases in which custody or detention is ordered, cases where the victim is a minor, as well as those related to domestic violence, the Bujanovac court said on Wednesday.

Civil cases will be dealt with only in civil disputes that are urgently required by the law, while the hearings related to other cases will be postponed. 

The issuing of certificates will be done if the applicant points to the justification of the urgent issue, so that the spread of infectious diseases could be prevented, it is, among other things, stated in the Instructions on the operation of the Basic court in Bujanovac during the state of emergency.
