Bujanovac, Belgrade – All electoral activities in Serbia are postponed while the state of emergency is in force, the Republic Election Commission decided at today's session.

This would practically mean that after the end of the state of emergency, new deadlines for the elections would be set.

All the electoral actions taken so far will have legal force in the continuation of the electoral process.

The elections for MPs were originally called for April 26, while the provincial and council elections were, in a large number of municipal assemblies in Serbia, scheduled for the same date.
